Orthoceras And Goniatite Fossil

Orthosias and Goniatites are two distinct, ancient marine cephalopod fossils, often found together in limestone from Morocco. Orthosias means "straight horn," referring to its long, conical shell (ancestor to squid/nautilus). Goniatites are spiral-shelled ammonoid ancestors, often valued for representing evolution and 390-million-year-old history.
